PRESIDENT PARK STATE VISIT TO INDIA AND SWISS FROM 15TH TO 22ND AS WEF GATHERING, FIRTH IN THE NEW YEAR OF KOREA’S SALES

President Park Gyun –Hye will pay a state visit to India and Swiss from coming 15th till 22nd and also attending an annual summit gathering of WEF known as “Davos Forums” in Swiss. It marks the sixth time since the inauguration visit. “In this state visit, two states will discuss on the diplomacy and security, as well as increasing mutual trade and investment “said by Cheong Wa Dae. President Park visiting India as state guest from 15th to 18th Jan at the invitation of India’s Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh and will hold delegation level talks. The Summit of two countries will discuss in the field of stronger high level political co-operation, in diplomatic and security, open economic and trade environment, research and development programme in science and technology. After that from 18th to 21st , President Park is state visiting Switzerland and will discuss on the field of expansion of trade investment, vocational education, science and technology reinforcement of cooperation and global issue cooperation on climate change with Swiss President. It is the first state visit by a Korean President to Swiss since the Korea establishment of diplomatic relations with Swiss in 1963. After finishing the visit to Swiss President Park will participate in the opening of 14th annual meeting of WEF in Davos for two days from 21st and she will address the opening of Keynote at the forum with theme of “ The reshaping of the world: Consequences for politics, business and society”.

Strong earthquake of magnitude 8.3 hits Chile.. Tsunami warning issued till Peru

A strong earthquake of  magnitude 8.3 occured in the vicinity of Santiago, the capital city of Chile, on 16th April at 7:54 PM. Because of the earthquake, the entire coastal area of Chile and the neighbouring country Peru , has been issued Tsunami warning and an advisory has been issued in Hawai, US. Also, the buildings of the Santiago city has were strongly shaken because of which thousands of fear-stricken citizens rushed out to the street, evacuating their houses, which caused a huge chaos. The Chilean government revealed that due to the unstable condition of communication services in that area, the details of injuries and damages cannot be reported yet. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) initially announced the magnitude of the earthquake to be at 7.9  but they immediately upgraded it to magnitude 8.3. STRONG QUAKE IN CHILLE [SANTIAGO].......TSUNAMI ALERT IN PERU

A strong earthquake of magnitude 8.3 struck off the vicinity of santiago [capital city of Chille] on 16th at 7:54 pm.Tsunami alert has been issued in the whole coastal side of chille and the neighbouring countries of Peru even in Hawaii ,due to this strong earthquake.  Also,in the santiago downtown ,building were strongly shaken therefore thousands of fear stricen people came out on the street consequently there's happened a big ruckus everywhere.  But due to telecommunication's unstability no any detailed report about injured or dam a ges have been rulled out .  USGS[united states geological survey] initially announced the Earthquake of magnitude 7.9 but immediately updated the magnitude to 8.3.  According to USGS ,the epicentre was located at the Pacific Ocean coast which is 228 km away from NW Santiago.And the depth of the focus was 5 km only.  Chille University estimated that the epicentre was 500km north of the Santiago and the depth of the focus wa...
