PRESIDENT PARK'S STATE VISIT TO INDIA AND SWISS ON 15-22, TO ATTEND DAVOS FORUM AND ALSO 'NEW YEAR' SALES



President park will pay a state visit from coming 15-22 to India  and Switzerland.She will also attend 'Davos Forum'an annual meet of World Economic Forum in Switzerland.

This will be her 6th visit to a foreign country since she got appointed and the first after New Year

The Blue House announced in a statement that this visit is expected to focus on actively promoting economic investment opportunity or'sales diplomacy'and also introduce our country's economic innovation policy.

With the invitation from the Indian Government,President Park will firstly visit India from 15-18 and attend the summit conference with Indian PM, Manmohan Singh.

In the two countries platform conference,the Blue House said in a statement that the diplomacy cooperation in fields of security enhancement of education and expanding investments and promoting practical cooperation,production economy keyfields in science technology and ICT sector,were to be discussed and build a strong foundation for cooperation in consultation with the Korean peninsula and exchange of opinion on the local situation are expected.

After that President Park will visit Switzerland from 18-21 and meet with the president Burk Halter at a summit conference to discuss the expansion of investment programs,vocational education,science and tech strengthening cooperation,global coordination on the issue of climate change and also discuss on matters of the Korean peninsula situation.

Ever since our country establish diplomatic relations with Switzerland in 1963,it will be the first visit for our country's president.

After her visit to Switzerland on the 21st President Park will spend 2 days attending the 44th annual summit of the WEF aka Davos Forum and will give the keynote address on 'creative economy and entrepreneurs' for a whole session.

The federation of Korean industries plan to schedule and host an event with selected Global Tech Pioneer companies,Global cooperation CEO'sand individual audiences.

It is the first attendence of the Davos Forum for the current President Park after the former President Lee Myung Pak in 2010.

Strong earthquake of magnitude 8.3 hits Chile.. Tsunami warning issued till Peru

A strong earthquake of  magnitude 8.3 occured in the vicinity of Santiago, the capital city of Chile, on 16th April at 7:54 PM. Because of the earthquake, the entire coastal area of Chile and the neighbouring country Peru , has been issued Tsunami warning and an advisory has been issued in Hawai, US. Also, the buildings of the Santiago city has were strongly shaken because of which thousands of fear-stricken citizens rushed out to the street, evacuating their houses, which caused a huge chaos. The Chilean government revealed that due to the unstable condition of communication services in that area, the details of injuries and damages cannot be reported yet. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) initially announced the magnitude of the earthquake to be at 7.9  but they immediately upgraded it to magnitude 8.3. STRONG QUAKE IN CHILLE [SANTIAGO].......TSUNAMI ALERT IN PERU

A strong earthquake of magnitude 8.3 struck off the vicinity of santiago [capital city of Chille] on 16th at 7:54 pm.Tsunami alert has been issued in the whole coastal side of chille and the neighbouring countries of Peru even in Hawaii ,due to this strong earthquake.  Also,in the santiago downtown ,building were strongly shaken therefore thousands of fear stricen people came out on the street consequently there's happened a big ruckus everywhere.  But due to telecommunication's unstability no any detailed report about injured or dam a ges have been rulled out .  USGS[united states geological survey] initially announced the Earthquake of magnitude 7.9 but immediately updated the magnitude to 8.3.  According to USGS ,the epicentre was located at the Pacific Ocean coast which is 228 km away from NW Santiago.And the depth of the focus was 5 km only.  Chille University estimated that the epicentre was 500km north of the Santiago and the depth of the focus wa...
